Career Development Events allow an
FFA member to develop and practice techniques that will further their knowledge
in the agriculture career of their choice.
These FFA activities take place during
the spring semester of the school year. They require dedication, hours of
study, and many practice sessions. Contestants can compete at different levels:
Invitational, District, Area, Regional, State, and National.

Floriculture, Poultry Evaluation, Meats Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, Dairy
Foods Evaluation, Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Horse Evaluation, Farm Business
Management, Ag Communication, Forage, Entomology, Home Site Evaluation, Tractor
Technician, Land, Nursery/Landscape, Agricultural Mechanics, Prepared Public
Speaking, Extemporaneous Speaking, and Soil Stewardship Speaking.
